From €33.00Moonlight Shadow, To France, Family Man, Foreign Affair… these are just a few of Mike Oldfield's hits that soared to the top of the charts in the 80s. What do they all have in common? The amazing voice of Scottish singer Maggie Reilly, who was a key part of the British composer's pop phase.
Maggie Reilly's international fame isn't just thanks to her work with Mike Oldfield. Her solo career also boasts huge hits like Everytime we Touch (which became a massive hit in 2006) and Tears in the Rain.
These days, Maggie Reilly regularly tours around the UK and Germany.
Opus One is a project put together to play Mike Oldfield's music, celebrating 50 years since his most famous works came out. Their worldwide debut was on May 25, 2023, exactly 50 years after Tubular Bells was released. They did a streaming concert that over 4,500 people watched live. Today, it has more than 1.4 million views!
Their first public concert was in June 2023 at the Palau de la Música in Barcelona with Maggie Reilly, and it was a huge hit with both critics and the audience. After that, Opus One has performed at the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid, the Cartuja Center CITE in Seville, and the Teatro Coliseum in Barcelona, among other big concert halls. They've also been part of festivals like the Palau Fronteres cycle (2023 and 2024) and Guitar BCN 2024.
