Marçal has not seen his father, a hippie living in a camper van in the Australian desert, for many years, so when he is forced to organize a dinner to introduce him to his high-class fiancée and mother-in-law, he decides to hire an actor to impersonate his father.

The story gets tangled when the upcoming actor falls ill and the agency ends up sending a last minute substitute, Ramon, a dubbing actor with little work, who will be so involved in his role that will complicate everything.

A series of misunderstandings, lies and half-truths will lead to entanglements and hilarious situations, and we will see how Ramón will end up turning the dinner and the lives of all the guests upside down.
