The brain does not age the same way in every person. The second edition of the Rosa Maria Vivar Foundation’s annual conference focuses on one of the most promising frontiers in cognitive health research: the relationship between the microbiota and the brain, and what science is beginning to understand about how the gut-brain axis influences cognitive decline and its prevention.
An event that brings together cutting-edge research, rigorous dissemination, and a practical perspective on what this means for individuals and organizations.
Speakers:
Dr. Jorge Sepulcre, a neuroscientist and director of the Brain Connectomics Laboratory at Yale University, serves on the Board of Trustees of the Rosa Maria Vivar Foundation.
Dr. M. Victoria Moreno-Arribas, researcher and professor at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), an expert in gut microbiota and inflammatory processes associated with aging.
Mr. Xavier Cañelles, an expert in Clinical Psychoneuroimmunology (PNI), molecular biology, and the microbiota. Professor and science communicator.
The event will be hosted by journalist Ms. Helena Garcia Melero.
