After a successful tour of more than 60 concerts throughout Catalonia, the rest of the Catalan-speaking region, various locations on the Iberian Peninsula, France, Italy, and the United Kingdom, “El primer cant del matí” is beginning to bid farewell to the stage. The debut album by ALOSA—the duo consisting of Giulietta Vidal (vocals and percussion) and Irene Romo (vocals, cello, and percussion)—is entering the final stretch of a tour that has established the project as one of the most unique acts in the new wave of Catalan folk music.
