El Kanka surprises us with a new album. Last night, unexpectedly El Kanka released the album entitled Las canciones, it is an acoustic album with only his guitar and his voice. 11 songs that he has covered such as: 'Volar', 'Querria', 'Del miércoles al martes'... and with an unreleased song called 'Los soñadores'.

"'Las canciones' is a minimalist album. The record is fundamentally guitar and vocals. That's what the songs sound like when they're freshly born, and that's how I still champion them today ..." 

El Kanka is one of the most beloved and recognized artists of the Spanish music scene. With a style that fuses genres such as singer-songwriter, pop, rumba and flamenco, his music is characterized by its freshness, emotional depth and his unmistakable way of telling stories. With his latest album, he manages to transmit the nostalgia of when they first came out, but naturalizing all his production and with his authenticity that characterizes him so much.

This weekend begins the tour 'The songs'. This will start in his city, Malaga and will pass through different cities of Spain to stop in Tarragona, on May 24, at the Palau Firal i de Congressos.
