Pizza Combat: the competition of the pizzerias. If you thought that pizza was only for lunch on Sundays... you haven't yet seen the most delicious and competitive gastronomic event of the year, where the best pizzerias in Spain go head to head in a real battle for the pizza crown. 

What is Pizza Combat?

It is not a simple food festival. It is a mass war, a delicious competition where 18 pizzerias from all over Spain compete in the same place with a clear objective: to show who makes the best pizza in the country.

This event gathers true artisans, who arrive with their own baking forks, their secret recipes and tones of passion for pizza. But this is not done just anywhere: the battlefield is a quadrilateral, as if it were a wrestling ring... but with a lot of cheese on the outside!

How does it work?

- The 18 participating pizzerias will set up their pizzerias in the center of the enclosure, arranged like a quadrilateral.

- The public decides: You are the jury. Each visitor will be able to vote on the website according to 4 categories and vote for their favorites.

Neapolitan pizzas, Roman, Argentinian style, creative, traditional, with sea, vegan, with fried vegetables... Each pizzeria plays its prestige in this event. 

On and when?

At the end of March the first edition of the event was held in Alacant, which was a success, now it is held from last Wednesday until April 13 in Tarragona.
