Pizza Combat: the pizzeria competition
If you thought pizza was only for dinner on Fridays... it's because you haven't yet experienced the tastiest and most competitive gastronomic event of the year, where the best pizzerias in Spain go head to head in a real battle for the pizza crown.

What is Pizza Combat?

It is not a simple food festival. It is a mass war, a delicious competition where 18 pizzerias from all over Spain compete in the same place with a clear objective: to show who makes the best pizza in the country.

This event brings together true artisans, who arrive with their wood-fired ovens, their secret recipes and tons of passion for pizza. But this is not done just anywhere: the battlefield is a ring, as if it were a wrestling ring... but with lots of melted cheese!

How does it work?

- The 18 participating pizzerias set up their ovens in the center of the site, arranged like in a ring.
- The public decides: You are the jury. Each visitor will be able to vote on the website according to 4 categories and choose their favorites.
- Brutal atmosphere.

The experience

Neapolitan, Roman, Argentinian style, creative, traditional, sourdough, vegan, with stuffed edges... Each pizzeria stakes its prestige on this event.

Where and when?

At the end of March the first edition of the event was held in Alicante, which was a success. Now the appointment is in Tarragona, from last Friday until April 13.
