Fibracat turns Tarraco Arena into Europe's best-connected event space

Fibracat is going to hook up the awesome Tarraco Arena with a super-fast dual 10-gig Wi-Fi network! It'll be able to handle 10,000 people online all at once, making it one of the most connected places in Europe. This partnership is happening at just the right time, as having great internet is a must for any successful event these days, especially for streaming.

Fibracat has set up a dual 10 Gbps connection at Tarraco Arena, which means a total of 20 Gbps (that's double what Camp Nou has!) to put the venue at the forefront of 21st-century events. Plus, the telecom provider can quickly boost capacity to 4.8 Tbps (that's 48000 Gbps!) if needed.

Meritxell Bautista, who co-founded Fibracat, says that 'this whole project shows our dedication to balancing things out across the region. We really get that technology and staying connected are super important for everyone's economic and social growth.'

Javi Tirado, Tarraco Arena's commercial and events director, is really happy about the collaboration agreement, which will bring a new tech experience to events at the venue, known as one of Spain's largest indoor venues. Javi Tirado says that 'this partnership with Fibracat is a big step forward in modernizing and improving services at an iconic spot, like Tarragona's old bullring, built way back in 1883.' Tirado adds that 'setting up this super powerful Wi-Fi network, which offers global connectivity for both attendees and pros, opens up tons of new possibilities for corporate events, conferences, shows, and festivals, among other things.'

Both companies have signed a partnership deal for 3 years, and they're hoping to renew it when the time comes.

This is the second deal Fibracat has signed, following the Nou Congost sports hall in Manresa. Their goal is to bring connectivity to important places all over Catalonia. Meritxell Bautista says, 'We're a local company with big plans for the future, and we want to help our cities embrace all the cool new opportunities that technology brings.'
