Fibracat turns the San Miguel Tarraco Arena into the best-connected event space in Europe

Fibracat will provide the emblematic Tarraco Arena with a double 10 gigabyte wifi network, with connection capacity for 10,000 simultaneous users, making the space one of the best connected in Europe. This alliance comes at a time when connectivity has become a necessary element for the success of any event, especially those via streaming.

Fibracat installs in the San Miguel Tarraco Arena a double 10 Gbps connection, which represents a total of 20 Gbps ( twice as much as the Camp Nou) to place the venue at the forefront of the world of 21st century events. In addition, the telecommunications operator can enable a rapid capacity expansion of 4.8 Tbps (48,000 Gbps) should the need arise.

The co-founder of Fibracat, Meritxell Bautista, assures that "this initiative responds to our commitment to rebalance the territory, aware that technology and connectivity are essential for economic and social development".

The commercial and events director of San Miguel Tarraco Arena, Javi Tirado, is satisfied with the collaboration agreement that will allow to enjoy a new technological experience to the events of the space, considered one of the indoor venues with the largest capacity in Spain. Javi Tirado assures that "the alliance with Fibracat, represents an advance in modernity and service provision in an emblematic space, such as the old bullring of Tarragona, built in 1883". Tirado adds that "the installation of this powerful wifi network, which allows a global connectivity service for spectators and professionals, opens up new opportunities for the celebration of corporate events, conferences, shows and festivals, among others".

Both companies have signed a collaboration agreement for a period of 3 years, with the possibility of renewal.

This is the second agreement signed by Fibracat, after the Nou Congost sports pavilion in Manresa, with the aim of providing connectivity to key spaces in Catalonia. Meritxell Bautista affirms that "we are a company of the territory, with challenges for the future and we want to open cities to the new opportunities that come with technology".
