Tarraco Gel an adventure on wheels
Tarraco Gel has returned, one more year to the Gavarres Commercial and Leisure Park with the 9th edition of Tarraco Gel. Come and enjoy its services and the extensive facilities unique to the territory of Tarragona.
Last December 1st we inaugurated the biggest indoor gel skating rink in the territory and it was a great success. Hundreds of people enjoyed the spectacle of the skating team of the Gimnàstic de Tarragona skating club and the Tarragona City Councilor for Sports, Berni Álvarez, cut the inaugural ribbon.
The whole event was held under a tent of more than 800m2 where, later on, all the public could enjoy the rink, finding different options to make the experience more pleasant, such as the rental of material, skates, gloves or supports for the youngest of the house.
If you come to Tarragona, you will be able to skate on gel during this holiday season until the 7th of January 2024. The opening hours are:
- Monday and Sunday afternoons from 16:45h to 21:00h.
- From Sunday to Sunday from 11:30 am to 9:00 pm
The reference track since 2014 has already carried 200,000 users in 8 seasons.
Every year he surprises us with something new and since 2022 a new LED screen will be installed inside the track to enjoy a total immersive experience. You can see the images here.
This 2023, it is expected that there will be more public influx, as it is expected that more than 25,000 people will pass through the large gel track.
