World Premiere of the New Seat at Tarraco Arena
With an absolutely unique and spectacular vibe, CaixaBank Tarraco Arena was totally transformed to host the World Premiere of the brand-new Seat Tarraco! This vehicle is making a grand entrance as the third SUV model from Seat and will now be the flagship of the brand.
A contest with public voting finally gave the new vehicle the name Tarraco as a tribute to ancient Tarragona from the Roman era.
And, of course, Tarragona and CaixaBank Tarraco Arena were the perfect Mediterranean setting chosen to host the global launch of the new Seat Tarraco model!
After six months of getting everything ready, last September was picked to plan and prepare the event.
It took an amazing setup with 150 people, 240 hours of work, 18,600 watts of power, and 13,000 meters of cable to launch the new Seat Tarraco at Tarraco Arena!
San Miguel Tarraco Arena turned this event into a personalized experience thanks to its versatile nature, which allowed us to adapt the space to every need the client had.
Setting up a huge screen on the main track made it possible to split the venue into two totally different and pleasant areas.
The main seating area, where the opening event took place, was set up with a specially designed grandstand for the occasion. This brought over 300 journalists specializing in the motor world closer to the spot where the new Tarraco vehicle made its debut.
Luca de Meo, president of the Seat brand, highlighted during the presentation: “It’s our first big SUV and it’s part of the 3 billion euro investment we’re making for the 2015-2019 period to secure the future of the company and our vehicle range.”
In the area set up for lunch with a Mediterranean vibe, the first positive comments were heard about the different spaces, which connected through a ramp that crossed the screen and allowed vehicles to do closed circuits during the presentation.
This created a really fun and visual dynamic that met all our client's expectations, and we hope to organize another event like this with them again.
